Metal Roofs - Liquid Rubber Coating

Metal Roofs have been around for many years and have leaked for many years. There hasn't been a solid solution to achieve that water-tight roof until now. The Liquid Rubber System provides a long lasting waterproof membrane which users can easily apply.

Steps

  1. Ensure a clean, dry surface: It's recommended that users power wash the surface
  2. Tighten and/or replace fasteners
  3. Bridge joints, seams, vents, skylights etc., with Liquid Rubber Seam Tape
  4. Apply Liquid Rubber MetalSafe Sealant, Liquid Rubber Color Waterproof Sealant, or Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant to fasteners, tight seams and vents
  5. For areas with rust, if your final coating is color, prime with two coats of Multi-Purpose Primer or a Rust Primer to prevent bleed through
  6. Apply your selected Liquid Rubber waterproof sealant to entire roof
  7. COVERAGE - Coverage rates vary by product. See product page for coverage rates.
  8. Apply the next heavy coat when the product is dry to the touch and nothing is wet underneath.  Tacky is ok
  9. Do not combine colored and black products. Use one or the other.
  10. Avoid hot, direct sunlight during application
  11. Apply above 10C
  12. Remove painters tape while still wet
  13. Do not apply later in the day if Dew is forecast
